作品以「教育知識」與「自然環境」為發想，學校為教育學習之場域，與鄰近之鳶山有著密切的地緣關係。作品以飛鳶立於高山之上，除自然環境的融入外,亦 表現出知識學習仰之彌高的意念。
「書本」象徵著教育的記號與知識的載體,以鳶之雙翼轉化成書本，寓意著學生透過學習，奮力揮著翅膀，突破固有之空間宇思維，翱翔於廣闊天地之間，飛的更高，看得更遠。書本上呈現「大學」之文字，闡述著大學之教育宗旨。

The Work is inspired by "Educational Knowledge" and "Natural Environment", The school is the Venue for education, and it features a close geological relationship with Yuangshan Mountain nearby. The work of an eagle on top of a high mountain not only fuses into the natural environment, but also further demonstrates the aspiring thought of knowledge learning.
"Book" symbolizes the mark of education and the carrier of knowledge. The Wings of the eagle are transformed into a book, implying students striving to flutter through learning in order to surmount the existing space and thought, to Soar between the vast heaven and earth, to fly higher and see farther. The characters of "great learning" in the book depict the educational purpose of university.
